Proposition 3-17: Help Make St. Patrick's Day an Official Holiday

Part PR stunt and part (hopefully genuine) political movement, Guinness's Proposition 3-17 petition is just plain awesome.

Most people don't even know that St. Patrick's day isn't an official holiday here in the U.S. According to the Proposition 3-17 website, there are approximately 9 times as many people of Irish decent living in the U.S. than the there are people living in Ireland! That being said, the time is well overdue for St. Patty's to be an official holiday!
